Small beginnings. . .
Potter’s Hand Pastries actually began years ago with two little girls learning the art of baking at the hands of their grandmothers, mothers and fathers. Many happy memories and recipes were made and shared. Along with baking, moments of tea and teatime were shared. These two little girls grew into young ladies and who enjoyed baking and sharing tea with their families and friends. They soon began their own service of creating beautiful cakes and cupcakes for family and friends. This branched out into dreams of a business of crafting unique and unusual cakes, cupcakes and cookies for others and later adding a tearoom.
Potter’s Hand Pastries opened in July of this year and will be holding a grand opening very soon. We are very fortunate to have been able to open in a beautiful historic building here in downtown Thomasville. We love being “on the bricks!”

We are truly thankful for God’s providence in blessing us to open this business. We are also thankful for the faithfulness of our families, friends and the new faces we meet each day who continue to help and encourage us.
Our prayer is that we glorify Him in all we do, not only in our personal lives, but also in our business venture.
